🐾 THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN This design began with Sassy and me—and a story that had not been written yet. Sassy’s brothers and sisters were already stepping into competition rings and beginning their dog-sport adventures. Watching them brought some of my old competition nerves rushing back. Could Sassy and I do this? Were we ready? What if we made mistakes?

Then I realized we didn’t need to know how the entire story would unfold. We didn’t need to feel completely confident, have everything perfected, or know where the trail would eventually lead. We simply needed to get there.

That is the moment captured in this design: a person and their dog standing together beside the Start sign, sharing the kind of quiet glance that says: “We’re doing this.” It is the moment when the nerves may still be present, but they no longer get to make the decision. We arrived. We were brave enough to begin. From here, the possibilities are open—and Sassy and I get to create our own kind of magic together.

Because our story has not already been written. It begins with one brave step.

✨ THE MEANING IN THE DETAILS The person and dog represent the partnership at the center of every shared adventure. The Start sign marks the place where wondering becomes trying. The pink collar and heart remind us that our dogs are more than teammates. They are our partners, our encouragers, and sometimes the reason we find enough courage to take the next step. This design is not about ribbons, titles, or flawless performances. Those may become wonderful parts of the adventure, but the real victory is choosing to begin—even when your heart is racing and you do not know exactly what happens next.
